The work behind the result

The NGPass Driving Academy approach to independent driving.

Preparation has more value when you understand your progress. Each lesson connects to the decisions you need to make for yourself.

01

Understand the starting point

We begin with your experience, priorities and the situations you find demanding. That conversation helps identify where attention is needed.

02

Make the reasoning clear

Observation, positioning, speed and timing are connected. Understanding why a decision works helps you apply it when circumstances change.

03

Develop judgement on real roads

Nottingham’s junctions, roundabouts and changing traffic conditions give you opportunities to read a situation and choose a safe response.

04

Review readiness honestly

Feedback identifies what is consistent and what needs attention. Abdul assesses your ability to drive safely without relying on prompts.

A clear starting point

Before your
first lesson.

Do you provide automatic driving lessons in Nottingham?

Yes. NGPass Driving Academy provides automatic driving lessons in Nottingham. Tell Abdul your postcode and availability so he can confirm whether your location and preferred times can be accommodated.

Do you prepare learners for Colwick and Chilwell driving tests?

Yes. Lessons can include preparation for Colwick Driving Test Centre or Chilwell Driving Test Centre. The focus is on the observations, decisions and vehicle control needed across a range of road and traffic situations.

Can I start if I feel anxious behind the wheel?

Yes. You can discuss the situations you find difficult before beginning. Lessons can then address those concerns with explanations, manageable steps and time to review your progress.

How long is each lesson?

Lessons last two hours. This provides time to work on a specific area, practise it and reflect on the feedback. Current rates and booking details are available on the lesson prices page.

How will I know when I am ready for my practical test?

Abdul uses his professional judgement to assess your driving and the preparation you need. Readiness includes consistent observations, safe decisions and independent driving. Any remaining areas of concern should be addressed before taking the test.

Will my progress be the same as the learners featured here?

Every learner has a different starting point, amount of previous experience and pace of development. These are individual achievements, not a promise of a particular number of lessons or a first-time pass.

How do I enquire about lessons?

Send Abdul a WhatsApp message with your postcode, driving experience and availability. He can discuss your goals and let you know whether a suitable lesson time is available.
