Automatic driving school Nottingham: your questions
How do I get started?
Send a WhatsApp message with your postcode, your driving experience and the days or times that usually work for you. Whether you are starting from scratch or returning after a break, this gives us a useful starting point for discussing availability. You can ask questions before arranging a lesson and explain anything you are worried about.
Can you help if I feel nervous?
Yes. Our automatic driving school welcomes nervous learners, and lessons focus on calm explanations, patient support and manageable goals. Tell your instructor what feels difficult so you can work on it together. You do not need to arrive feeling confident: the aim is to build understanding and confidence through practice, reflection and a pace that suits your learning needs.
How long is a lesson, and what does it cost?
Lessons last two hours and cost £85, equivalent to £42.50 per hour. A two-hour session gives you time to settle in, practise and review what you have learned. Payment is due when booking. Visit the Prices page for current block-booking options and booking terms, and ask about availability before making plans around a particular lesson time.
Where can I take lessons?
Our automatic driving school covers Nottingham and surrounding areas, including Beeston, Chilwell and West Bridgford. Send your postcode when you enquire so we can discuss your location and a suitable pick-up arrangement. The areas map below helps you explore coverage, while your message lets us check the practical details of your particular booking.
How many lessons will I need?
There is no single lesson total that suits everyone. Your previous experience, confidence and progress all matter. You and your instructor can review the skills you are developing and identify what needs more practice. Test preparation should follow your readiness to drive safely and independently, rather than a promise to pass within a fixed number of hours.
